The war of sin and virtue has been going on since the time immemorial, there is no pause in this modern civilized society either and what civilized society has kept an account of how many eternal lives have been sacrificed in this war? But it can’t go away, so there is a need for a strong man who will save the whole human society from this monstrous conflict and we have got that merciful warrior rich in inner knowledge. He is none other than our beloved Vivekananda. In his view life is nothing but the seat of manifestation of the eaternl power of soul. The revelation of underlying God in life takes place with the help of this positive philosophy in-spite of innumerable hurdles. That’s why in course of defining the life to the young prince of Khetri, Swamiji expressed that Life is the name of relentless struggle against all kinds of hostile forces, against which the forces are always trying to supress him. Sorrow and pain comes from ignorance. According to his view sin is the nickname of ignorance and it is the low level of self experience and relatively low level of honesty. Swamiji also explained that delusion is nothing but the poetry of life. One western old lady once asked if he didn’t utter any word about sin, then and there Swamiji broke the silence in return and said that those sins had made me saint, cow never told lie–wall never stole anything, but man told lie-did wrong and again that man became self-righteous great man like Jesus and Buddha. According to his wise view if there is any way to go to heaven, it is through hell. God of virtue has been preached forever, but I say the God of virtue and the God of sin is the same.That is why Swamiji informed the world in course of discussion about the character of the great men we see that sadness taught them more than happiness, poverty taught more than wealth, blasphemed did more to ignite the fire in their hearts than praise.
